The Cadillac CTS-V

The CTS-V is a higher-performance variant of the recently redesigned CTS sedan and includes a version of the supercharged V8 engine that powers the new Corvette ZR-1. It’s less powerful in this application, but still unleashes an estimated 550 horsepower and about as much torque. As such, it’s more potent than at least one of its major rivals, the BMW M5, whose larger V10 engine makes 500 hp. In its previous generation, the CTS-V put out 400 hp.
