The Acura TL 2009

The dramatically revamped 2009 Acura TL shows the kind of comprehensive redesign Acura's parent company, Honda, is known for. Where some automakers might say "good enough," Honda's sheer volume of engineering changes shows it pored over every millimeter of the TL to improve it wherever possible.
The result is a bigger, roomier sedan with more of everything: power, features, safety and technology. Acura's so-called "super handling all-wheel-drive" is available — a first for the TL — but only on an upgraded version with a potent 305-horsepower, 3.7-liter V6 engine. The base TL offers a smaller 3.5-liter V6 with 280 hp, a 22-hp jump from the current model.
