Ian Callum is slowly motoring a preproduction 2009 Jaguar XF around a temporary driveway built at Sky way House, a surprisingly post-modern home set deep into verdant property somewhere in the outskirts of this city. "We wanted you to see it in motion," a P.R. exec intones. The XF does another lap of the temp road, the Jaguar design chief scarcely blipping the speedometer.
